Bridging Time dance show
‘Two generations, one spectacular show’.
This year’s Dance Show explores two generations, a young girl and her great grandmother, sharing the developments and innovations that have shaped each of their worlds. It will be a chance to see history and the technologies of today brought to life, showcased in an array of clever, moving, fun and uplifting dance numbers in varied styles. There will be something for every generation, so don’t miss out!
On the 3rd of December children from key stage 2 and above attended a schools’ matinee of the dance show in the GWA theatre.
The Crucible
‘Experience the terrifying true story of the Salem witch trials. In a world where whispers become law and fear is the only truth, witness the hysteria unfold as paranoia and deception ignite’.
On the 18th of November secondary school pupils from Whitley attended a performance of The Crucible in The Christopher Lee theatre.
At the Annenberg theatre
During 2025 Wellington College kindly provided tickets and transport for WEC schools to attend both ‘into the Woods’ and ‘treasure Island’.
The children loved seeing these shows and would not have been able to without this generous offer. Over 100 attended Treasure Island in May and earlier in the year 137 enjoyed a performance of ‘Into the Woods’ .
