Our Mission
To empower children and families to access non-formal learning and enrichment activities that will enable them to gain skills to improve their engagement with their local community and their future.

Working with children and families in disadvantaged areas of Reading
We work directly, and alongside many other organisations to enable children to take part in activities including, outdoor education, cultural and leisure trips, sports activities, music, dance and performance, competitions, and other participatory events throughout the year.
We work to provide opportunities and experiences which many children and families take for granted, but are too often beyond the reach of families and children in South Reading.
Our aim
This term we are raising funds for our minibuses. Geoffrey Field Junior School have raised £40 and The Ridgeway Primary School have raised £668.19. A massive thankyou to both schools for their help in reaching our target.
Our goals
To work with children and families in disadvantaged areas of Reading, to develop their capacity and skills in such a way that, they are better able to identify and help meet their own needs and participate more fully in society. A key aim is to involve the community in our work and to empower families to aspire to improved futures for themselves and their children.

Students from KS1-4 joined in with the 2024 event at Reading University. Showcasing their amazing persuasive language and engaging the judges. We love being part of this event each year.

Ufton Court
Ufton Court has been a long-term partner to Aspire2. Offering Whitley children the opportunity to experience the great outdoors, bushcraft skills, and new activities to stretch them both physically and mentally.

Year 5 Reading University visits
This ongoing project is an exciting initiative which aims to give children from Whitley the chance to experience a world-class university environment and ignite their curiosity about the world of higher education.
