Early Years Music

September 2022 saw the launch of a very exciting project for Aspire2!

Aspire2 ran FREE Early Years music sessions across all school nursery settings in Whitley, in association with Berkshire Maestros, and were supported by funding from Youth Music, Englefield Charitable Trust, and Berkshire Community Foundation.

Every child aged 3-4 in each set received 1 session per week for the whole school year, delivered by qualified and experienced Early Years Music specialists. These children had the opportunity to try real musical instruments, and enjoy singing, dancing, stomping, clapping, and making lots of beautiful noise!

Alongside this, we held a FREE weekly session in the Whitley Community Café every Tuesday with Jackie with Charlie Cello, open to any of the children of Whitley aged under 5!
